During the summer vacation students ages 11-17 will be given the opportunity to participate in a musical highlighting the issue of bullying

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library plays a vital and pivotal role in the St Maarten society. In this – the infor­mation age – one needs to know where the required information – be it in books, on CDs, DVDs, or via the Internet – can be found. The hot point to information access is the library.

The Philipsburg Jubilee Library, with Writers Unlimited and Nederlands Letterenfonds [Dutch Foundation for Literature], presents the International Literary Festival “Crossing the Seas” to be held on April 15, 2012, at 4pm at Philipsburg Cultural and Community Center on Backstreet

The Philipsburg Jubilee library will be closed on the following dates

Wednesday coming April 4th, 2012 the library will be hosting a storytelling workshop.
Mrs Manisha Baharani will conduct a special workshop for parents and caregivers about the importance of teaching with music, which would lead up to playtime and learning time.

Academy has done it again!!!! Tonight, Cookie Lilawatee walked away with the top prize in the Readers Are Leaders program. Congrats and enjoy your new laptop. Also carting away a laptop was Jenice Forbes .

She was nominated because of her exemplary academic performance and outstanding poetry skills.
