It was in the year 1923, that Queen Wilhelmina celebrated her silver jubilee. In the same year, the founders of the Library recognized the necessity and importance of reading by all.

The Power of Knowledge motivational lectures return to the library

For the next Power of Knowledge lectures of this year, the library has invited Mr. Lenworth Wilson and
Mr. Rolando Tobias. Mr. Wilson will speak on how to process the past, practice good habits and prepare
and plan for the future, while Mr. Tobias will speak on financial planning and budgeting. These sessions
will be broadcast on the library’s Facebook page and in the local media, starting August 11th , 2020.
