Sint Maarten Library welcomes two Interns from MPC

The library provided an invaluable opportunity for the students to gain practical experience in a library setting.

Throughout the internship, the students were immersed in various aspects of library operations, working closely with library staff to learn about information management, research techniques, and customer service, under the guidance of experienced library staff members,
the interns actively participated in cataloging books, assisting library patrons etc

The internship program aimed to expose students to the dynamic world of libraries, where they could develop essential skills and gain hands on experience relevant to their academic and professional pursuits.

By working alongside library professionals, the interns were able to expand their knowledge of library systems.
