St. Maarten Day Scavenger Hunt

On St. Maarten’s Day 2011 eager teams took part in the scavenger hunt hosted by The Philipsburg Jubilee Library. This was our fun way of informing the community about Sint Maarten’s history and it served also as a means to raise funds for the Library. The winning Team was “The Optimistic Pessimists” followed by “The Pelicans”.

Prizes included a weekend stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort and Oyster Bay Beach Resort, mobile phone packages from Tel Cell, a digital camera from Blue Point, a DVD player from Music Man and shopping vouchers for CostULess and Sunny Food Supermarket. We would like to thank all our sponsors and the teams for taking part in this event and Mr. David McGregor of CHARISMA who prepared the Quiz.
