The power of Knowledge series continues on Thursday July 7th at 6.30 at the Philipsburg Jubilee Library with an informative and interactive discussion on natural hair texture by Rochelle Ward who is the Managing Director of “Don’t Break the comb
Power of Knowledge session about “Natural hair, natural beauty at the library
The Power of Knowledge series is for everyone who desires knowledge. This session will equip and bring greater awareness and appreciation for one’s natural hair and beauty.

The lecture will consist of an explanation about different hair types and structure; how one can take care and use basic hair care; apply hair styles to their natural hair, as well as hair challenges like hair loss and the natural products that can maintain the natural beauty of your hair.

Rochelle Ward has organized a number of events including Partners in crime: going Natural and staying Natural, hard Hair: St. Martin Women & the Culture of Natural Hair and hosted the I AM Beautiful Caribbean Natural Hair & Skin Workshop Tour. Ward has been natural for most of her life, she has had her fair share of breaking a number of combs’ and is still determined to manage and basks in the beauty of celebrating Natural Beauty.
