Christmas Vendors Event The Philipsburg Jubilee Library started its December program. It is a scaled-down program due to the COVID-19 risks that still apply. Instead of the well-known Christmas market, the visitor of the library will be treated to do some special Christmas fun shopping. From Tuesday, December first until Saturday, December 19, 2020, different vendors will present their goods at the entrance of your library,
on the balcony, and the premises of the former library building. On your way or coming back from your library, you can buy special food and drinks, Christmas gifts such as handicrafts, perfumes, toys, health products will be for sale. The opening hours of the boots are 8.30 am – 4 pm all days of the week except on Sunday.

As usual, your library features story-time via social media every Wednesday at 10 am for babies and toddlers, and every Saturday at 11 am for children until 12 years old. To bring our young ones also in the Christmas spirit, your library will feature on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, a story for toddlers and on Saturday, 19 at 11 am a story for Primary Level students, by our very own librarians, Ms. Melackia Spencer and Ms. Maryland Powell, whom will bring your children into a world of fantasies around the celebration of Christmas.
Grace Period for all PatronsPJL’s is offering its patrons the last opportunity to return outstanding books without a late charge. This Grace Period will be held from Monday, December 14 until Saturday, December 19, 2020VID-19During the rest of the month, your library will be open as usual, except for December 24, 2020, afternoon, December 25 and 26, 2020, December 31, afternoon, and on January 1 and 2, 2021. When you have enough time left, after your season shopping, you can always go on-line and access our E-Books collection, with your membership code from our ever-growing inventory.
As 2020 come to a close as a library do be encouraged to make a pledge to continue to support the Philipsburg Jubilee Library, continue to embrace all opportunities to develop yourself educationally, socially, and spiritually, join the growing list of E-Book readers, renew your membership, or to become a proud new member of your Philipsburg Jubilee Library.
