Children’s book author Mario Picayo at the Library

Mr. Picayo was born in Cuba, grew up in Puerto Rico and lives in New York. He is the author of the hit children’s book : A Caribbean journey from A to Y ( Read and discover what happened to the Z). This book has been a best-seller for the last four years, and among the top selling books on Amazon.com’s Caribbean Children Books category. This month Mario Picayo will (almost) follow the text of his “Caribbean journey” book as he travels from A (Anguilla and Antigua) to S ( St. Maarten, Saba, St. Thomas, St. John, St. Kitts, St. Vincent) on a month long trip through the islands. Picayo is presenting his book and donating other children’s titles by Caribbean authors to several libraries in the region. On Tuesday December 27th Mr. Picayo will be on St Maarten. All Children and their parents are invited to the library to listen to Picayo’s stories. The event starts at 2.00 pm in the Children’s corner of the Library.
